This is a PRODOS 32MB hard disk image for use with Applied Engineering's PC Transporter

It has a preconfigured "MSDOSVOL" (16MB MS-DOS hard disk image file) with bootable installation of MS-DOS 5 and a full installation of Microsoft Windows 3.0

First, mount the PRODOS image on an Apple II using BOOTI hard drive emulator or similar

Launch PC Transporter in the usual way, and from the PCT control panel, set the C> Hard Disk pathname to /PRODOS32MB/MSDOSVOL
And set the D> Hard Disk pathname to /PRODOS32MB/AEPC/MSDOSVOL

Exit and reboot the PC environment

MS-DOS 5 should now load

Launch Windows 3.0 by typing "WIN" at the C:\ prompt

Windows is configured to use a Mouse Systems PC mouse on COM2: and an IBM Graphics Printer on LPT1:

On an Apple IIgs, this corresponds to the Apple ADB mouse and ImageWriter on serial printer port
You may need to customize the settings if using different hardware...

This Windows 3.0 installation has been tested to work on a PC Transporter equipped with 768K RAM (640K available to MS-DOS)
Windows 3.0 officially requires just 384K of free conventional memory, so it will presumably run on PCT's with less RAM

This is indeed the LAST version of Windows to support IBM PC/XT (8088 CPU) & CGA graphics, and nothing later will work on PC Transporter

C:\WINDOWS - directory where Windows 3.0 is installed
C:\WIN3INST - directory containing the Windows 3.0 installer files (everything from the Win 3.0 720K 3.5" floppy installation set - 7 disks worth - copied into a single folder)
